Global presentation

The Documentation and Information Centre on Laos (DICL) is made for the public at large : researchers, tourists, students, or else. The DICL is a non-profit making association, without dependence with an administration, an embassy, or a private or public structure. For further information The DICL is born in the end of the ‘70s, in order to provide information on Laos, to contribute to a better knowledge of this country, and participate by this way to its development.

Beside acting as an documentation and information centre, the DICL has, from the start, been involved in a co-operation program in Laos, providing training in library management for Laotian documentalists and librarians.
